THE CHALLENGE

The complete ICA content of Permanent Effluent Treatment Plants at Network Rail Depots at Longsight and Newton Heath in Manchester. The project purpose was to remove PCBs from contaminated shallow groundwater and trade effluent. 



THE SOLUTION

The complete ICA content comprised of; Compilation of the Form B documentation, the Compilation of the Functional Design Specification (FDS), Electrical Design of the control system and the electrical installation, Manufacture of the Distribution systems including standby power, MCC’s, Design and testing of a Rockwell PLC and SCADA system. 



THE VALUE

S M Control were able to offer Network Rail a Turnkey Solution for the ICA content of this project, including a detailed pre-commissioning, commissioning and training program.
