With great brands like Pepsi, Robinsons, Tango and of course the Britvic brand, Britvic Soft Drinks is one of the two leading soft drinks businesses in Great Britain.

Project Detail

The complete electrical and instrumentation content for extensions to a PET production facility at Britvic.
R+R was responsible for:

  • The preparation of a functional design specification
  • Design of control and diagnostic software
  • Design, manufacture and testing of control panels
  • Electrical Installation
  • Commissioning (including product trials)
  • Training
  • Supply of a comprehensive documentation package

The control system was based on six 5-series Allen Bradley PLC systems with a “Panel View” on each system and an Allen Bradley “Control View” SCADA system.
